How to deceive the opponent in a creative way
17:10 - 18:00 Monday 21 September
The typical paradigm for knowledge extraction from data is changing and now we can generate instances that are based on the known ones to “deceive” our algorithm unable to distinguish what is true from what is false. The “negative” case is when it also deceives us, humans. Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) are an evolution of convolutional neural networks. We will go through different use cases showing their evolution and we will discuss some examples introduced by NVIDIA researchers with StyleGANv2, El Intermedio (the Spanish news satire television program) and the commercial advertising the twelve peals of the bell (the popular Spanish tradition counting down the beginning of the New Year).
