PhD in Computer Science by the University of Almeria. She is currently a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, University of Granada.

Her research interests include the design and implementation of scalable data structures and algorithms for GPUs, multicore and manycore; and the development of neural networks models for remote sensing and video surveillance.
